being lubed in a jiffy
This is an eye-opener to people younger that 40 because Jiffy Lube was exposed by 60 minutes in the early 80s. In the 80s I was hired by 2 entrepenures who ran Jiffy Lubes. We were always getting calls from the media. (They fired me for having cancer and raising their employee insurance rates.) Rules to live by: Try to eat at home as often as possible, and never take your car to where you cannot observe the on-going work.
